ReMaCo is a B2B marketplace that eliminates the broker layer from the recycled materials supply chain — connecting recyclers and MRFs directly with the manufacturers who need what they produce.

The problem we're solving

The recycled materials market is opaque, fragmented, and dominated by brokers who obscure pricing, hide supplier identities, and add transactional friction without adding value. A recycler in Georgia and a manufacturer in Tennessee might be a perfect match — but they'll never find each other without paying a middleman 15–20% to make the introduction.

At the same time, demand for verified recycled feedstock is accelerating. Five US states have passed Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation, creating legally mandated demand for recycled content regardless of virgin resin pricing. By 2030, projected demand for recycled plastics is expected to outpace supply by 30 million metric tons.

The infrastructure to meet that demand exists. What's missing is the marketplace to connect it.

How ReMaCo works

We're a managed marketplace — not a bulletin board, not a directory. Every seller is verified with valid EIN and company documentation before their first listing goes live. Every listing includes full material specs. Payments are held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Traceability documentation is included with every transaction.

Our focus today is plastics: rPET, HDPE, and PP in bale, regrind, and pellet form. We start with the Southeast — where industrial density and logistics infrastructure make it the highest-value region to build first — and expand from there.

Why now?

EPR legislation (CA SB 54, CO HB 22-1355, WA SB 5154, OR SB 582, MN EPR) is creating compliance-mandated demand for recycled content. Tariffs on virgin PET introduced in 2025 have raised the price floor for recycled material. Corporate sustainability pledges from Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Unilever, and others are creating procurement pressure from the buy side. The timing for a direct-connect marketplace is better now than it has ever been.
